Third DSM Workshop Held at KAU

The Saudi Electricity Company's Chair for Demand Side Management and Energy Efficiency of King Abdulaziz University held its third workshop under the title of "Energy Efficiency in Buildings" on Wednesday, April 25th, at the Islamic Economics Institute (IEI).

The event- aimed at further promoting energy efficiency and demand side management- was held under the patronage of Prof Abdullah O. Bafil, KAU Vice President for Projects, and was attended by Dr Naif Alabbadi, Director General of the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and Dr Shahnawaz Ahmed, of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

Lectures on ways of conserving and storing energy were given during the event by Dr Shahnawaz Ahmed and Dr Alabbadi.

Dr Ibrahim Jomah, the chair's supervisor, showed deep gratitude to the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)  for sponsoring the chair.
