WHY ONLY NATIVE SPEAKERS IN DEPT. OF ENGLISH ( Tuesday, January 03, 2012 )

English today has become everyone's cup of tea. It is not confined only to the native speakers. In fact people other than native speakers speak better, write better, teach better. It is very unfortunate that non native speakers, like Indians, Pakistanis etc, hardly get any opportunity to teach in reputed universities, colleges and educational institutions. if they get opportunity I am sure they will bring good results.

The text above says that the 5-day application period starts from July 3rd. Since there is no year mentioned here, it is unclear at least to me whether the date is gone (3rd july 2010) or it starts from 3rd july 2011. I would really appreciate if it is made clear for all. Regards.
