Faculty Overview

The Faculty of Education at King Abdulaziz University was established based on the University President’s decision number 9153/K dated 24/5/1430h .The Faculty had previously consisted of the following colleges:

1. Teachers’ College, founded in the academic year 1409h.

2. Girls' College of Education, founded in the academic year 1394h.

3. College of Education for Teachers’ Preparation.

The Faculty of Education currently consists of the following academic Departments:

I: Educational Departments which do not grant bachelor's degrees (Supportive), which include:

1. Psychology Department

2. Management and Educational Planning Department.

3. Foundations of Education Department.

4. Curriculum and Methodologies Department.

5. Educational Technologies Department.

II: Educational Departments that grant bachelor's degrees:

1. Special Education Department.

2. Physical Education Department.
