Preparatory year program

General overview: 

The board of the university approved in its eighth session held on 30/6/2002, the process of provide the preparatory year program to prepare students for the university since the beginning of the first semester of the academic year (2002/2003) through the Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Learning in the university. This program let students, who hold general secondary certificate (scientific stream), enroll the colleges of engineering, science and economy and management after completing the general subjects for one year and getting the cumulative average required for enrolling these colleges. 

The goal of the program:
The program aims at giving the students, who hold the general secondary certificate (Scientific Stream) but their conditions hinder them from getting the required averages, the opportunity to enroll the university through subjecting them in preparatory course for two academic semester. Then those who achieve the requirements of enrollment are annexed to the suitable college along with calculating the common subjects they took in their original college.
