The Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education
Held a lecture (between Mollusks and the Giant)
The Community Service and Continuing Education Deanship, represented by the unit of “Social Responsibility” organized a lecture titled “between the Mollusks and the Giant” under the sponsorship of His Excellency the Director of the University Dr. AbdulRahman Obaid AlYobi. It was part of the series of lectures presented by Social Responsibility unit on Monday 14/06/1438 in King Faisal Center for Conferences. The Deanship was honored by the presence of Dr. Towfiq bin AbdulMuhsin AlKhayal the dean of Faculty of Economics and Administration. The event opened with verses from the holy Quran recited by Mr. Ali AlGarni and was presented by Mr. Ali AlHarthi manager of the deanship management; and the discussion was managed by Dr. Hamed bin AbdulRaouf Saleh the Deanship representative for development.
The lecturer was Dr. Maysara Taher , and the lecture included explaining the concept of (cytoplasm) represented by mollusks or the person who is devoid of reaction without any positive signs. As for the (Giant) he is the heir on earth who takes the qualities and behaviors and owns them and can apply them in his daily life with the six habits of which are religion, language and history. Allah created man as heir on earth and in order to achieve this he must learn and seek to increase his knowledge.
Dr. Maysara Taher ended his lecture by answering the questions of the attendees both men and women. Then Dr. Hasan bin Saeed AlZahrani the in-charge dean of Community Service and Continuing Education presented a commemorative shield to the lecturer. The event ended by making draws for all the attendees both men and women. This lecture was attended by a big audience and visitors.
The event was supervised by Dr. Fowzia Mohamed AlNuaiser the representative of girls section and the joint work team from community responsibility unit from both sections, public Relations and Marketing Unit in cooperation with some employees from different units and also a voluntary work team composed of students.
