Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education

Signs a Cooperation Agreement with “FATN” program.

His Excellency the university director Dr.AbdulRahman bin Obaid AlYobi (deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education) concluded a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education (the protective National Program “FATN”) represented by Dr. Naser bin Mansour AlAreeni the general secretary of the program secretary’s council on Thursday 26/5/1438.

This agreement is based on the principle of mutual cooperation between the two parties as the deanship of community service and continuing education is seeking to achieve international pioneering in community service with modern and high academic techniques in order to advance the society culturally, educationally and in terms of training through exceptional programs which match its expectations and to be the connecting link between the society and the university to introduce the many capabilities available in the university to the community around it so that it takes advantage of them through a series of programs (Community Responsibility Unit) in the Deanship. The national protection program (FATN) cares for protecting the society from   security, social, cultural, health and economic threats, and targets educational communities by cooperating with related establishments such as ministries, universities and specialized research chairs.

Dr. Towfiq bin AbdulMuhsin AlKhayal the Dean of Deanship of Community service and Continuing Education explained that the deanship and (FATN) program want to enter in a partnership document for achieving those goals in line with application of the strategic partnership which supports the national efforts and achieve the Kingdom vision 2030 which aims to ensure sustainability, mental protection and develop personal and social skills for educational community.

The agreement included many points most important of which is taking the educational objective into consideration through this program and enhancing educational, social, behavioral and mental objectives in the framework of Islamic Sharia; in addition to mutual cooperation in organizing educational and training programs that serve both parties. The agreement also aims to intensify the audio, visual and read awareness programs and the effective information coverage of events, meetings, symposiums and lectures and disseminate to the educational community and conduct any other activity which supports the interest of both parties.

This agreement was attended by: Dr.  Hasan bin Saeed AlZahrani, the deanship representative, and Dr. Hamed bin AbdulRaouf Saleh , the deanship representative for development and the employees of social responsibility unit and public relations unit and the university snap-shat authorized person.
