KAU gears up for National Day celebrations

Preprations are underway at KAU to join celebrations of the 84th National Day.
A buzz of excitement and joy will be felt all round the main campus and branches of King Abdulaziz University (KAU), in celebtaion of the Day, according to Prof Abdullah Mohorji, KAU Vice President and Chairman of the event's executive committee.
A series of folklore and cultural activities will be held, Sunday, to mark the occasion and pay respect to the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, the royal leader who brought unity to the Kingdom.
The festivities will include a line-up of activities to promote KSA's heritage and national identity and highlight its culture, traditions and achievements, Prof Mohorji also added.
The event, which will be attended by Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, and senior KAU executives, will be a good opportunity for KAU students and staff to renew their pledge of loyalty to their leadership. |
