The Third Strategic Plan of King Abdulaziz University (KAU) was launched Thursday by the Acting KAU President Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, in the presence of senior KAU executives.
Prof Alyoubi stressed that the Third Strategic Plan would focus on achieving quality, IT sustainability and creative knowledge.
The Plan will also focus on improving the infrastructure and services dispensed by the university, he also added.
The Plan will also focus on evaluation and assessment, management of the educational process, promotion of students' skills, social responsibility, e-Learning and the enhancement of the role of the faculties, associations and research centres and chairs in addressing the community's needs, according to Prof Abdul-Fattah Mashat, Vice President for Development.
The Plan will also focus on enhancing the creativity embedded in the KAU affiliates, seeking to obtain more patents, qualifying future leaders and developing the administrative structures, according to Dr Ibrahim Al-Bedaiwi, Head of the Department of Strategic Planning.
