Workshop to review instant emergency response procedures held
 A workshop to review the instant emergency response procedures was organised by the Emergency and Disaster Management Centre (EDC), Monday, under the patronage of the Vice Presidency for Projects.

In his speech in the inaugural ceremony of the event, vice president for projects,  Prof Omer Bafil, hailed  EDC management for organising the event.

According to Dr Ibrahim M. Jomaah, EDC's director, the event was held with the express purpose of discussing issues relating to improving the anticipation of possible emergency occurrences and reviewing the methods, resources and procedures for coping with those situations.
