Areas of expertise

Experience in teaching, scientific research and strategic planning ? Experience in the exploration of Uranium and associated minerals through my work in the Nuclear Materials Authority - Egypt. ? During my Ph.D. study in Germany (from 1996 to 1998) and an invitation from DAAD for two months in Germany (June 2003), I experienced using Electron Microprobe, preparing samples for geochemical analyses by XRD and XRF and mineral separation by chemical solutions and magnetic separator. ? I have supervised (from 2003 to 2012) a laboratory for Microprobe system in the Department of Mineral Resources, Faculty of Earth Science, King Abdulaziz University.
Teaching In Faculty of Earth Sciences courses in General Geology, Igneous and metamorphic rocks, Systematic mineralogy, Geochemistry and Principles of the geochemical techniques.
Nuclear Materials authority Exploration of radioactive minerals
Geo-environmental assessment Geo-environmental assessment around Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia Fate and transport of heavy metals and radioelements in groundwater aquifers of Al Qunfudhah and Wadi Haliy quadrangles, southwest of Saudi Arabia
Faculty of Earth Sciences using Electron Microprobe, preparing samples for geochemical analyses by XRD and XRF and mineral separation by chemical solutions and magnetic separator
Al-Riyadah Development Office I participated in the preparation of several strategic plans and accompanying workshops
