Former First Lady for USA, Mrs / Laura Bush Commends the Efforts of Dr. Al-Amoudi in her speech in the Global Women’s Cancer Summit on 4th February 2013 in Washington she noted the courage of Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi and efforts to effect change in her society and as a new Member of the Board of Directors of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in Geneva.

In Gulf Business Magazine, Dr. Samia ranked in fifth (5th) position for the “Most Prominent Scientists” in the list of 100 Most Powerful Arabs 2013. In the Top 100 list of Gulf Business Magazine for 2012 she was ranked 79th and this year she is 3 ranked higher to become the 76th in the list of Arab personalities of the 100 Most Powerful Arabs 2013.

In the list of Arabian Business Magazine “100 Most Powerful Arab Women of 2013” Dr. Samia Al-Amoudi ranked 28th in the Arab world, and also on the 9th spot for Saudi Arabia, where the list included 14 other Saudi women.

On 23 March 2013 in the List of 500 Most Powerful Arabs in the World of 2013 issued by the "Arabian Business Magazine" recently Dr. Samia ranked 195 on the level of Arab world, advanced 19 ranks from her former rank in the list of 2012.
