First: Questionnaires are divided into three categories as follows:

1. Questionnaires for Saudi students studying abroad.

• Obtain approval from the Ministry of Higher Education, accompanied by an official letter from the Cultural Mission, to facilitate the implementation of the questionnaire. The letter should include information about the researcher and permission to conduct the questionnaire at King Abdulaziz University.

2. Questionnaires for postgraduate students enrolled in Saudi universities.

• Obtain an official letter from the researcher’s university that includes information about the researcher and authorizes them to conduct the questionnaire.

3. King Abdulaziz University students who wish to distribute questionnaires must submit a publication request through the Graduate Studies Transactions System and attach the following:

• (General Data Form – Researcher Declaration Form (for research involving living organisms) – Academic Supervisor Declaration Form)

Second: Questionnaire Requirements:

• Identify the target sample.
• The questionnaire must be electronic.
• Specify the colleges where the questionnaires will be distributed.
• Paper questionnaires may be used if required by the nature of the study.
• The questionnaire must be written in Arabic, and unfamiliar terms should be avoided unless necessary.
• The questionnaire must not address or offend religion, the state, its sectors, or the system of governance, nor should it provoke religious, racial, or gender-based discrimination or any other form of bias such as sectarian or ethnic discrimination.
• Questions must be relevant to the research topic and should not deviate from its scope.
• Questions should be clear in wording and meaning to serve the research objectives and facilitate responses.
• A clear introductory statement must be included by the researcher, explaining the research title, objectives, target sample, and methods of communication and data collection (questionnaire, personal interview, etc.).

Third: Procedure for Submitting the Request

The questionnaire request should be submitted to the Dean of Graduate Studies. If the applicant is a male student, the request should be sent to the Vice Dean for Admission and Programs at the Deanship of Graduate Studies. If the applicant is a female student, it should be sent to the Vice Dean (female section).
For King Abdulaziz University students, the questionnaire publication request should be submitted through the Graduate Studies Transactions System along with the General Data Form, Researcher Declaration Form (for research involving living organisms), and the Academic Supervisor Declaration Form.
