History
The FEA at King AbdulAziz University is accredited by the Saudi Ministry
of Education to award Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. In addition, FEA
is accredited by international bodies including AMBA and EFMD and is a

The undergraduate programs offered by FEA comprise degrees offered by
its various
academic departments.
Mission:
The mission of the FEA Bachelor of Science Degree
is to educate students from various backgrounds the basic knowledge,
practices, and skills of business and prepare them for business careers.
Learning Goals:
Graduates of the FEA Bachelor of Science program
shall have
1. Analytical skills
1.1 Use the basic analytical techniques such as
quantitative methods, probability and statistical inference to solve
business problems.
2. Ability to use information technology
2.1 Use statistical, accounting and decision
making software to process and program data in professional format.
2.2 Do research using the Internet and other database available in the
University’s libraries as resources.
2.3 Create a professional presentation using MS-PowerPoint or Excel or
equivalent in Apple.
3. Ability of effective decision making
3.1 Read and interpret financial statements
3.2 Use operation research methodologies to make scientific decisions
3.3 Perform a statistical analysis to draw conclusion
3.4 Use the concept of time value of money in financial decision making
3.5 Use the concepts of risk, return, diversification, and cost of
capital in financial decision making.
4. Competency in business
4.1 Apply SWOT analysis in a case scenario.
4.2 Describe fundamental concepts and principles of management including
the basic roles, skills, and functions of management.
4.3 Identify the historical developments, theoretical aspects and
practice applications of the managerial process.
4.4 Recognize the interactions of organizations with the environment,
technology, human resources.
4.5 Describe the role played by production/operations function in a
business and its relation to other functional areas.
4.6 Identify the human issues in the workplace and describe their impact
on organizational effectiveness.
4.7 Identify the basic concepts underlying generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP)
4.8 Describe the basic principles and processes necessary for the
implementation of product/service costing systems.
4.9 Describe the basic principles and processes necessary for effective
planning and control.
5. Communication skills
5.1 Produce professional quality business
documents
5.2 Use multimedia to support professional quality presentation.
5.3 Demonstrate effective oral communication in business situations.
