Rabigh Students and Community Participate in KAU Marathon

On the occasion of KAU 50th anniversary and under the auspices of its vice-president Prof. Abdullah Moustafa Mahraji, a marathon organized by  the university branch in Rabigh was launched on Monday 29 February 2016 with the participation of KAU students and Rabigh local population.

The Marathon started from Rabigh city Cornice and finished at KAU Raqbigh Campus. A number of agencies including the traffic police, security patrols and the Saudi Red Crescent took part in the organization of the competition. At the finish line, Prof. Abdulmonim Al Lahyani Dean of Students' Affaires honored the winners on behalf of the Marathon sponsors. Prizes were awarded to the ten first winners.

The award ceremony was attended by Rabigh Branch Colleges' deans and vice-deans and representatives from various government agencies.

Prof. Al Lahayani indicated that the Marathon organized as part of commemoration of KAU 50th anniversary witnessed a remarkable participation from the students as well as from the local population.

He expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude  to the Marathon organizers including the Deanship in Rabigh branch and the participating and supporting government agencies
