Annual Forum for KAU Science Students launched

The Fifth Annual Forum for Science Students of King Abdulaziz University (KAU) was launched by KAU President, Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, on Saturday, December 10th at King Faisal Convention Centre.

Themes of the two-day forum include humanities and social science, basic engineering sciences and health sciences.
 
Additional activities include inventions, entrepreneurship projects, patents and some other art contests.

Prof Tayyeb said the forum was in tune with KAU's policy of promoting scientific research, describing it as  a great opportunity for the students to present their research projects and creative ideas in various disciplines.
 
He also made a tour of an exhibition held on the sidelines of the event.

According to Prof Adnan Zahed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the event is in maintenance with KAU's earnest efforts to encourage initiatives, participation and students' thoughts with an eye to unlock their potential and develop their research skills.
