CHAPTER 2: Academic degrees

Article (2)

As per the recommendation of both Department and College Councils and with the concurrence of the Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies, the University Board confers the following degrees/certificates:

1. Postgraduate Diploma

2. Master’s degree; and

3. Doctoral degree.

Article (3)

The graduation requirements for the above degrees/ certificates as outlined in Article 2 should be in accordance with the stipulations of the Unified Regulations with the following exceptions:

1. Medical diploma; and

2. Medical fellowships;

This will follow the approved regulations issued by the University Board.
