First: In order to accept the student at the college include:
1 - that the success rate of the student as determined by the university in the preparatory year in which the natural lead the student for admission.
2 - Applying to the Admission and Registration Deanship of Admissions in a timely manner, and announced by the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
3 - To be medically fit (safety of the parties and eyes) in a position to do follow-up study and its requirements of laboratories and training fields.
Second: Faculty of Earth Sciences consists of the following Departments:
1 - Department of Mineral Resources and rocks.
2 - Department of Hydrogeology.
3 - Department of Engineering Geology and the environment.
4 - Department of Petroleum Geology and sediments.
5 - Department of Structural Geology and Remote Sensing.
6 - Department of Geophysics.
In addition to the Department of Technical Training, which was previously granted a diploma technician under the special program in the disciplines: General Geology, geochemistry, geophysics, engineering geology, space, drawing, and the section now depends on the reception of students to specialize in and because it is in progress to develop the department academically .
The college offers the following degrees:
• BS.
• Master's degree.
• PhD degree .
