Department Goals

The Department of Mass Communication is pursuing the following objectives :

1 - Preparation of skilled manpower in various areas of communication to help meet the needs of Saudi Arabian society;
2 – Service in the growth and development of skills and abilities in the practice of media work; familiarization with its principles, theories, concepts, methods, and modern communication techniques that help individuals to function in the profession of media work;
3 - Training in the areas of communication and elucidating the link between practice and theoretical study;
4 - Addressing community issues related to fundamental concepts of communication that are compatible with the purposes of Islamic law;
5 - Advancement of scientific research and preparation of students qualified for admission to the postgraduate program.
