HE KAU President patronizes the opening workshop for Admission and Registration Strategic Plan

HE KAU President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al Youbi patronized the workshop for the Deanship of Admission and Registration Strategic Plan for three years (2017- 2020) on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at King Faysal Ceremonial Hall. HE Prof. Abdullah Mahraji KAU Vice-president attended the opening ceremony.

HE KAU President stressed in his speech that the Deanship of Admission and Registration is the first façade of the University where both male and female students get their first set of services. Its vital role consisting of organizing the educational process makes it the main core University sector of paramount importance to both students and faculty members. It is then important for the deanship to plan for updating and renewing its services for the sake of taking advantage of modern administrative and organizational development in the field of information technology. HE also indicated that the University is keen to learn from international expertise and experience in this field seeking to keep up with the rapid developments in educational institutions.

HE Prof.  Al Youbi also thanked all the Deanship personnel for their efficient and fruitful efforts towards providing students and faculty members with the services they need. He also stressed on the importance of developing such services and mechanism to insure service quality and excellence.

From his part, Dr. Amin Noman indicated that the Deanship strategic plan will take into consideration internal and external changes and will be consistent with the University strategic plan. It will also be consistent with the kingdom 2030 vision. He added that part of the benefits of the strategic plan to the Deanship includes clearly defining the strategic orientation and providing assistance for better identifying priorities as well as giving the opportunity to all the Deanship staff to participate in the vision planning.

He also indicated that the workshop seeks to fulfill three objectives: the Deanship strategic plan, institutional structuring of the Deanship and insuring a balanced performance capacity.
