Research
Dr. Mousa Mohamed research covers the
areas of Spray cooling and liquid atomization and its applications
of impinging liquid jet or droplets on a hot metal surfaces,
in addition to modeling of droplets evaporation heat mass transfer
in gas stream or on heated surface.
The impinging of droplets and droplets
evaporation needs more understand of the mechanism of droplets
behavior after impinging and how much heat released according
to the impinging parameters such as droplet size, impinging velocity,
mass velocity, liquid properties, surface condition and surface
temperature. The droplets evaporation requires an understanding
of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics.
