Interventional Procedures performed to Date

·         Over 3,000 Coronary Interventions

·         Total of 70 aortic valvuloplasties, more than 200 mitral, and 50 pulmonary valvuloplasties

·         Started the first case of directional coronary atherectomy in the Kingdom and Middle East.  To date more than 200 coronary atherectomy cases performed

·         Started the first case of complex coronary angioplasty on percutaneous cardiopulmonary bypass support.  So far performed  more than 20 cases (first case in Kingdom and Middle East)

·         Started first case of rotational coronary atherectomy in the Kingdom.

·         Started first cases of intracoronary ultrasound at King Faisal Specialist Hospital

·         Started first case of recanalization of vein grafts by extraction catheter (TEC device) in the Kingdom and Middle East.
