Arid Land Agriculture Department Participates in Symposium on "Safe Use of Pesticides"

The Department of Arid Land Agriculture at the Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture represented by Dr. Refaat Atalla Abohassann and Dr. Ahmed Ali Zaitoun has participated in a seminar entitled "Safe Use of Agricultural Pesticides and Moringa Trees" on Wednesday,27 December 2017, in Makkah Al Mukarramah. Which is carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – the Agricultural Branch in the Holy Capital, in the presence of a number of farmers and personals interested in agricultural alternatives and the safe use of pesticides. The seminar focused on the importance of awareness of the proper use of pesticides and natural alternatives. Dr. Refaat Abohassan discussed the multiple benefits of moringa trees and their importance  in dry areas.
