A seminar on environmental hazards and disaster management was organized by the Emergency and Disaster Center (EDC)  on Sunday April 13th at the main auditorium of KAU Hospital under the patronage of Prof Omer Bafil, KAU Vice President for Projects.

Also in attendance was Dr Ibrahim M. Juma'a, EDC's Director, and a host of KAU faculty and staff.

Issues pertinent to fire, rain and floods management in addition to chemical laboratory hazards were discussed during the event.
