A new online time-and-attendance system launched

A new web-based time-and-attendance system within the "Mykau System" was launched Monday by Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, Acting KAU President.

The new system was developed by the Deanship of Information Technology to meet time-and-attendance system needs.

The launching ceremony was attended by Prof Abdullah Mohorji, KAU Vice President, Prof Khalid Husain, Dean of Information Technology, and Dr Mohammed bin Hamza Awwad, Vice Dean of Information Technology.

The move is in line with KAU's strategy of going paperless and keeping pace with the latest technology.

In statements following the launch, Prof Alyoubi branded the achievement as a step forward to enhance the delivery of services and improve the educational process.

Commenting on the launch, Prof Mohorji Deanship of said: "the Deanship of Information Technology deserves to be called the Deanship of Creativity and Excellence, for it keeps launching new exciting projects and gaining us achievements and recognitions."

On his part, Dr Hussain reciprocated by thanking the KAU supreme administration for supporting the Deanship's activities. 

He was also quoted as saying: "We make no promises; we offer solutions instead. We don't talk much about our achievements. We prefer to let our actions speak for themselves. We also take pride in our staff and the Supreme Administration, who are the driving force behind these successes. We're also dedicated to improving our services to live up to our customers' expectations."
