SGS President lectures on mineral resources in the Rea sea
President of the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS), Professor Zohair Nawab, gave Wednesday a lecture at King Faisal Convention Centre on the mineral resources in the Rea sea.

The lecture was attended by Acting KAU President Abdurrahman Alyoubi, KAU vice presidents and a host of faculty members and students.

In his lecture, Professor Nawab spoke to the audience about the studies conducted by SGS in the deep basins of the Red Sea, which according to him, contain vast resources in the form of solutions rich in minerals.

Prof Ali M. Al-Aidaroos, Dean of the KAU Faculty of Marine Sciences, thanked Professor Nawab for giving the lecture.

He also pointed out that the lecture part of the faculty's efforts to encourage studies in the area of marine geology.
