MOU signed between Abdullah Ba Salama Chair for Gynecological Oncology and Zahra Breast Cancer Association
 
 A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Abdullah Ba Salama Chair for Gynecological Oncology and the Makkah-based the Zahra Breast Cancer Association on Wednesday 7 May 2014 at the Gynecology Oncology Unit of KAU Hospital.

The purpose of the MOU is to establish cooperation in the area of raising awareness of gynaecological and breast cancer by means of distributing leaflets and posters, organizing events and launching awareness campaigns.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof Abdullah Hussain Ba Salam, the Chair's sponsor, and Dr Nasreen Anfnan, Coordinator of Jeddah Cervical Screening Programme.

During the signing ceremony, Dr Khalid Sait, the Chair's Supervisor, gave a presentation on the activities and achievements of Abdullah Ba Salama Chair for Gynecological Oncology, while Ms Ula Al-Marzooqi, briefed the audience on the activities of the Zahra Breast Cancer Association in disseminating breast cancer awareness.
