| KAU is participating in Jeddah Projects Exhibition, which was inaugurated Wednesday by Jeddah Governor Prince Mishaal Bin Majed.
The inauguration was attended by Professor Omer Bafil. KAU Vice President for Projects.
The event is a good opportunity for KAU to showcase its projects in the exhibition, according to Professor Omer Bafil.
Professor Bafil also pointed out that 17 KAU projects with a total cost of SR 686.345.779 had been completed in the main campus and other branches in Al-Faisaliyya, Rabigh, Khulais, Al-Kamil and the new university of Jeddah.
He also added that these projects include constructing roads, students’ housing and new facilities in faculties, such as the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Economics and Administration, in addition constructing new classrooms, auditoriums, the foundation year premises and other administrative buildings.
Work on 70 projects worth SR 5,794.749.131 is still underway, and bidding for 12 projects worth SR 1,626.422.803 is also ongoing, Professor Bafil also added.
