The inauguration of the three-day event was attended by senior KAU executives, representatives of national companies and a crowd of students.
The recurring event is inspired by the necessity to promote cooperation with public sector institutions with an eye to enhancing the students' employability by means of creating an appropriate environment for preparing them to thoroughly understand the nature of labour market and its practical requirements.
The programme included organising an engineering exhibition to showcase some projects by graduate and undergraduate students, presentation of the Faculty of Engineering’s departments and their disciplines.
In addition, a job fair was also staged by some national companies and organisations to receive students and make presentations about their activities and job opportunities. The fair provided a convenient location for job seekers to meet potential employers.
