A General briefing on the deanship

General overview
The Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Learning at King Abdul-Aziz  University was established to link between the community and the university to indentify its various potentials that it has so that the community will benefit from them. In addition to the various specialized and scientific divisions in all domains of science and knowledge, the university is proud because of having excellent Saudi professoriates who hold international certificates and have distinguished experiences which they employ at the local level.   
 
Community Service and Continuous Learning Deanship: aims, and field of work
 The deanship includes goals that works at reinforcing the ties between the university and the community to develop it in all of its aspects aiming at meeting the various needs and requirements through using different activities which insure achieving many goal most importantly the following:  

  1. Contributing in human resources development through providing programs on learning, training and continuous learning which are giving in form of courses, developmental training programs to upgrade human forces in the Kingdom on all of its categories and qualification levels.
  2. Offering vocational aids and scientific support.
  3. Participating in disseminating culture, knowledge, scientific and technical awareness for the various sectors of the community through using different methods that comprise the organization of symposiums, seminars and conferences.     
  4. Workings on delivering surveys and researches results in all aspects of knowledge to various members of the community that are relevant to their work and tasks after facilitating them and putting in procedural mold.    
  5. Give advice, consultants and providing information for individuals, public and private institutions aiming at developing certain task and solving specific problem that the university can work them out.
  6. Collaborating with other relevant parties of the community to spread out Islamic, hygienic, technical, vocational, cultural, social and educational awareness. 
  7. Strengthening the sensation of the local community toward the role that King Abdul-Aziz  University plays and its importance as a scientific and educational institution, this in turn encourages the community to support the university in achieving its goals.
