Graduate Study Program

The Graduate Study programme is offered in six departments at the Faculty with the following combinations

1. Masters + Research
2. Research only

The Faculty now offers Masters degree along with Research in the following departments

Mineral Rocks & Resources

Hydrogeology

Environmental & Engineering Geology

Petroleum Geology & Sedimentology

Structural Geology & Remote Sensing

Geophysics

1. The time period required by the Masters degree is two years
2. The masters degree has courses from within and outside the faculty with a total of 42 credit hours

  • 33 credits hours from within the faculty
  • 9 credit hours from outside the faculty

3. The entire course is divided into 4 semesters

The faculty offers Masters and Ph.D degrees in the following departments
