The main objective to the Department of Hydrogeology is to
provide students with the latest developments in the field of
hydrogeology assisted by integration with modern technology
such as remote sensing, GIS, geophysics, computer programming
and statistics.
This objective leads to the following sub-objectives:
· Graduating highly qualified students and improvingtheir skills in subjects related to the field of Hydrogeology to make them suitable for the job market.
o Contributing towards the development and progress of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Citizens and community.
o Becoming a notable department in undertaking research and consultations from the governmental as well asprivate sectors in the field of Hydrogeology.
o Participating in training professionals from different
organisations to utilize up to date technologies such as
IT, Remote Sensing and GIS in the field of hydrogeology.
