Unit of Research on Education

 

Is concerned with researches related to the various aspects of Education for the hope of strengthening the positive areas, and for the understanding of the causes and results of obstacles and problems and for developing solutions for them and for offering suggestions around the development of the educational process in all of its various aspects and to improve its effectiveness for the hope of graduating generations that are equipped with knowledge, values, ambition, righteous citizenship and sincere desire for producing positive effects
 

Goals and Objectives of the Unit :
 
1.   To conduct research on the methods of preparing and qualifying teachers, contrasting them with the educational, psychological and social needs of the profession and for the students in all of their various age groups and to suggest plans and programs that are capable fo improving the qualification process to correspond to the needs

2.  To examine the curricula and contents for various educational levels, and to prepare suggestions about the contents and the methods of presentations, and all that they may need in order to satisfy the needs  for nurturing the balanced personalities in areas of knowledge, religion, mannerism, socially and humanely along with supporting ambitions and motivating giftedness

3.  To study regulations and their applications of class management, methods of motivation, discipline, and to suggest plans for best practices in class management and in positive reinforcement

4.  To prepare workshops and training programs for teachers and educators in order to train them on the best ways of planning, preparation for class and methods of measurements in accordance with the most recent studies and research

5.  To prepare workshops and training programs for teachers on the early identification of giftedness and the methods of nurturing it

6.  To prepare workshops and training programs for teachers on the early identification of special needs and learning difficulties and the best methods of dealing with them through partnership with the families for the hope of limiting the effects  of learning difficulties and for preparing the environment that is conducive for learning as well as for intellectual and learning development for students with special needs and to strengthen their sense of belonging to the Society

7.  To design motivating and organizing programs for students' activities, as well as the effective communication between the school and the family for the purpose of achieving the best results and enhancing the sense of belonging
