GenaTi Organizes the First Genetic Detection for Breast Cancer Awareness Program at KAUH

GenaTi was honored to have the first event for "Genetic Detection for Breast Cancer Awareness" which took place on Monday 30th October 2017 in the main Auditorium of  King Abdulaziz University Hospital.

GenaTi extended its thanks and gratitude to the Special Guests speakers: Prof. Samia Al Amoudi, Dr. Atlal Abusanad and Dr. Shadi AlKhayyat for their remarkable contribution in this event which focused on the need to raise awareness about early detection of breast cancer at the King Abdul Aziz University Hospital and the importance of utilizing the special services provided by GenaTi in this field by testing the "Genetic Analysis of the BRCA1 & BRCA2 genes.

GenaTi also thanked the Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi Center for Excellence in Breast Cancer Care and Zahra Breast Cancer Society for their participation in this event and the distribution of awareness brochures. Success of the event was attributed to devout contribution from GenaTi staff which included Dr. Heba Al Khattabi, Dr. Aisha Elaimi, Dr. Ashraf Dallol and group of enthusiastic members.

Several interested researchers, physicians, KAU students and some public figures concerned about this matter attended the event. The ceremony was concluded by photo session, distribution of brochures, souvenirs and BRACA Scan test kit.
