KAU wins 1st place of consecutive interpretation competition at 2nd Inter-University Translation Competition of Prince Sultan University

The Department of European Languages of King Abdulaziz University (women's campus) has won the 1st place of the consecutive interpretation track of the 2nd Inter-University Translation Competition organised by Prince Sultan University.


8 universities vied for the different categories of the second edition of the prize, launched in 2014 with the aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of young translators at the start of their careers and to promote translation as a creative activity.


Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, acting KAU President, congratulated the Department of European Languages on the achievement.
