Induction programme for new comers inaugurated

| An induction programme for the new students was organized, Sunday, by Deanship of Students' Affairs.
The event is held annually at the beginning of the academic year to give new joiners a glimpse of the campus life and aid them in fitting in the tertiary life as quickly as possible.
According to Prof Abdelmonem Alhayani, Dean of Students' Affairs, the programme is designed to help new starters with their transition to studying at KAU. It is intended to familiarize them with their status means in terms of services offered to them and to help them get the best possible start to their degree.
Fresh joiners were also provided with the necessary information about KAU's facilities, faculties, academic programmes and department admission requirements in a bid to help them decide on their tracks of study and to ensure smooth involvement of students in the extra-curricular activities and make them comfortable and zealous about this new life experience.
