KAU honored eleven of its employees who received Cambridge International Certificates in IT Skills.
KAU Vice President Dr. Abdullah M. Moharji congratulated the recipients on completion of their training course.
Calling for increased participation on the part of all KAU employees in such courses, he indicated that they have a positive impact on their job performance, and help realize the university’s aims in serving the community and enhancing the educational process.
“The Cambridge training courses enable employees to utilize state-of-the-art technologies in order to strengthen their IT skills, so that they could successfully partake in KAU’s e-administration,” Moharji asserted.
On the other hand, Dr. Fahd M. Al-Odyani, acting Supervisor General of Training Development, affirmed that Cambridge International IT Skills Certification Courses will continue; and that exams will be held weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays.
He also underscored the importance of Cambridge certificates, as they have been accredited by the Ministry of Civil Service.
In the past six months, 202 male employees and 169 female employees have enrolled in the Cambridge training program; and are receiving practical IT training in the university’s computer labs.
