First Middle East's genomic medicine journal launched at KAU

| The first journal on genomic medicine in the Middle East ever was launched Monday at King Faisal Convention Centre by acting KAU President, Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi.
The journal- named ''npj Genomic Medicine''- will be issued by the Center of Excellence in Genomic Medicine Research (CEGMR) in partnership with Nature Publishing Group.
Prof Alyoubi hailed the achievement, describing it as a milestone in the area of scientific publishing.
According to Dr Mohammed H. AL-Qahtani, CEGMR's director, the open access journal is launched on a fifty-fifty partnership with Nature Publishing Group in terms of profits and decision-making.
