KAU President meets with students of Rabigh branch

Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, held an interactive meeting with the students of Rabigh branch Wednesday 29 at the College of Business in Rabigh.
A crowd of senior KAU executives attended the meeting, including Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof Omer Bafil, Vice President for Projects, Dr Ahmed Nagadi, Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity.
In what was described as a cordial traditional meeting, Prof Tayyeb said the president-students meeting was held with the express purpose of listening to students' comments and suggestions in order to identify and address their various academic needs.
A number of issues pertinent to student life and learning at the university were openly discussed at the meeting, during which Prof Tayyeb listened and responded to points raised by a number of students.
An event to mark the kick-off of this year's extracurricular activities at the branch was also held during the visit.
Dr Abdulilah Saati, CEO dean, gave a speech thanked Prof Tayyeb for coming all the way down to lend a sympathetic ear to the students' needs and demands.
He also seized the opportunity give a brief on the branch's various achievements, with particular emphasis on academic accreditations.
Mr Taha Bin Mibaireek, Governor of Rabigh, also gave a speech in which praised the quantum leap achieved by the branch and the efforts made by the branch's administration to further develop it. |
