KAU takes part in IECHE 2014

King Abdulaziz University (KAU) is currently participating in the 5th International Exhibition and Conference on Higher Education (IECHE) 2014 organised by the Ministry of Higher Education from 15-18 April 2014 at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
KAU President, Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, and other senior KAU executives attended the opening ceremony of the event on Tuesday, April 15th in the presence of Dr Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education.
The event is a great opportunity for KAU to establish partnerships with Saudi and international universities, higher education institutions and educational organisations, said Prof Tayyeb in statements following the inauguration.
The four-day event is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz.
It hosts over 400 local and international exhibitors from 36 countries and 438 international universities and other higher education institutions.
9 specialized workshops and 75 general workshops will be held during the event.
Participants include a host of international and local higher education institutions and organisations concerned with rating and accrediting academic and e-learning courses, as well as distance learning and research centers.
KAU is participating with a four-section pavilion in the concurrent exhibition; two sections for the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Deanship of Graduate Studies and the Deanship of Distance Learning, a third section for the Deanship of Students' Affairs, and a fourth one for a mobile dental clinic. KAU Students will also be able to present 14 research projects and creative ideas in various disciplines. |
