KAU wins Khalifa Award for Education

 Prince Khalid Al-Faisal's Chair for Consolidating the Saudi Moderation Approach has been named winner of one of Khalifa Award for Education categories.

This educational authoring for children within the UAE and the Arab world enriches the educational authoring for children in order to disseminate the culture of child education and protect to a large segment of competent teachers, educators, and specialists in pedagogy, psychology, counseling etc.

The award was picked by Dr. Saeed  Ahmed Al-Afandi, representative of the Award in Saudi Arabia, on Monday 13th April.

The Khalifa Award for Education, named after His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims at upgrading the standards of national and regional education sector by honoring and recognizing the efforts and creativity of all the eminent contributors to the education sector locally and regionally.

The Award recognizes excellence within academic and local community schools, public and private universities, as well as accredited institutions in the UAE and the region. The Award covers several areas including general and higher  education, special needs, new media and education, education and sustainable environment, and education and community service.

The Award is headquartered in the city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, where meetings of the Board, Executive Committee and Arbitration Committees are held. Other branches of the Award may be opened in other UAE cities, by a decision from the Board of Trustees, and some of the Board’s and Executive Committee’s meetings may be transferred to any of these cities.
